Newspaper withdrawls...
Well, today is my first day without having our local newspaper delivered to my house and it's not quite as bad as I thought it would be. Not having it has changed my routine a lot, which will take some getting used to though.
So, without the paper I spent my first 1/2 hr. on the puter looking through the grocery ad online. Which was different...but, it works. The plus side to doing the grocery ad online is the store's coupon widget is right there, so I can match the coupons to my list with a click of the mouse..."Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." Our daily newspaper comes due on April 6th. We will not be renewing it. That will save a little over $100 a year. We are both online anyway so we can just read the news there.

I do this too, so much easier to stay focused on the deals and what you need. I think it is the best way to shop. So, without the paper I spent my first 1/2 hr. on the puter looking through the grocery ad online. Which was different...but, it works. The plus side to doing the grocery ad online is the store's coupon widget is right there, so I can match the coupons to my list with a click of the mouse...

Our local paper is online also. And it has everything that I'd read in the paper anyways, so theres no need to buy the daily paper. Least not yet.

http://www.meijermealbox.com/
and
http://meijer.shoplocal.com/meijer/d...toreid=2465937
both sites have a list feature. I open two windows, one for each site & click on what I want on my list from the ads...then I check the mealbox site use the list feature & click & print coupons. I had to sign up at both sites."Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." John Lennon
