    Post more pb product recalls

    i got an email (i signed up to receive) about 25 new products being recalled. and i wanted to share this with you.

    the link above lists all the product recalls, by food type. It lists brands (brandname and generic) and has more info. You can also search if you want as well.

    Note: pet food products are also listed!!!

    Just about every category except one is pre-packaged, processed foods, and MOST of them are snack foods! One more reason to learn how to make your own!

    Thanks for posting it! It's hard to keep up with what is being recalled.

    We don't buy much prepackaged foods, but I do buy alot of Aldi's regular peanut butter, so I have been keeping my eye out for that, and so far so good! Since we make alot of our own granola and stuff with it, I would hate to have it recalled when I have several jars sitting around in my cupboard and not know about it until I went to the store and couldn't find it!

    DH went into GNC this weekend to pick up his protein bars, and sure enough, the peanut butter crunch kind he really likes weren't there anymore. The guy said their corporate called and told them just to pull ALL of their peanut butter products. They won't sell anything with PB until this "scare" is over and all the manufacturers have been cleared!
