Murphy's Law
Of all the laws in the world there is one that I really hate and it happened to me today again - Murphy's Law.
Why is that an appliance never breaks down when you are finished but always when you have LOADS to do?
My dryer broke down today and it will not be repaired but replaced because it is way too old (15years old) and has been fixed too many times before.
Of course I had 4 loads of laundry today and it's now hanging all over the place, the heating is turned way up because otherwise it won't dry at all and of course it is horrible weather so I cannot hang it outside GRRRR!!!!
Also why do these things happen when the finances are stretched and not when there is a little room in the budget?
I HATE MURPHY!!!!!
I HATE MURPHY!!!!!*Avril*

Ugh, I feel your pain! That happened to me last winter! We have a rule that we never repair major appliances more than 5 times for major things (we don't count minor repairs, just the big ones). We figure after being repaired 5 times, it's just not worth the money anymore!
Here's a tip: When we bought our new dryer last year, we went looked everywhere. Lowe's had the one we wanted, but so did a local appliance place. At the local place, we told them that Lowe's had it a bit cheaper (like 20 bucks difference), and the made up the difference and gave us an additional $20 off!~ Plus, the sales tax was cheaper so it was a bonus! But the tip is, don't be afraid to compare prices out loud while shopping (make sure the salesperson is hovering) it is an easy way to "haggle" without actually telling them you don't want to pay their prices!

Because, if it didn't happen this way we wouldn't be able to blame it on "Murphey's Law"...hope you get your new dryer soon."Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." John Lennon
