    Smile New Member from NY

    Hi, my name is Christina. I'm new...obviously. I live in upstate NY, and I am a single mommy to two boys, ages 10 and 7. I'm a hairstylist, that put herself through school, and will be paying off all my student loans as quickly as possible. I stumbled upon this site looking for recipes for homemade dish detergent...and discovered so much more here! Within the last year or so...I have discovered the art of couponing and stockpiling...and never knew that you can get so much for so little. Within the last week I have discovered how to make my own homemade laundry detergent....and have done so...So exciting. It actually cleans my laundry for about 1 penny a load...can't beat that. Since then I have been researching how to make my own natural, or homemade cleaning products...since they tend to be cheaper and you can make in much larger quantities. I'm slowly trying to be more green, and when I finally purchase my own home, plan on composting, recycling more...and growing a veggie garden...anyway to save money and help the environment, and stay healthy...Getting back to basics instead of being so materialistic.
