    Hi everyone

    How did you hear about frugal village? Found this site looking for instructions for dehydrating potatoes


    What interests you here? I am stocking my pantry and planning next years garden. I enjoy growing and canning my home grown vegetables. I use coupons and am always looking for the best deal.

    What will you contribute? any helpful information that I have.


    Do you know any other members here? no

    How many kids? Ages? 2 grown children, son and daughter. 1 grandson age 1 and another grandbaby expected before the end of the year.

    Tell us about yourself. My husband and I returned to Illinois after he retired from the USMC. I recently stopped working outside the home for a couple of reasons, first so I would be available to care for our grandson while his parents work and secondly so I would be more available to tend to business for our small farm. We currently raise beef cattle and chickens. I am interested in becoming more frugal and selfsufficent. We are working towards retirement, hopefully, in the next 10 years.

    Do you own any pets? a dog, Wiley, we love her!

    Occupation? SAH wife, farmer, and caregiver for grandson

    Married or single? Married 30+ years

    Interests and hobbies? Gardening, Cooking, Canning
