    Default without wheels! ack!

How frustrating! I have walked to the grocery store last week with all three kids and a backpack to get groceries. Then today I find out DH ill have the van all this week still too!!! I am frustrated because I don't have the ability to goget the one o two things that are way out of walking range for me and th kids. I am going to ask y sil if she can help me go get the things I need. The bus doesn't go anywhere near the area i neeed to go. And taxi fees are way too expensive. Wissh work would get hub's van back on the road! So he wouldn't have to use mine!!

I understand how you feel. We are a single vehicle family, living 15 miles away from town. I don't have the van durning the work week, unless it is un-avoidable. If I need it, I have to get all 4 kids up at 5am, drive 30 miles there and back to drop DH off, and then 30 miles there and back to pick him up.
Instead, I go to town once a week on Saturday. It takes a lot of planning, but saves a ton.

the feed stores aren't open on the weekend. lest the two I can afford. Kinda mom-and-pop kind of places. i could walk, but eight miles round trip is a little much for a 4 year old. And the bags are 20 lbs...i need 1 and a half bags!

But, thankfully my sil has agreed to take me.

I lived in England when I was a teenager. There people shop everyday (teeny fridges) and lots of them would have these wheeled carts with a cloth bag in it and that's what they would use. Those would be handy! I'm glad your SIL can help you out.

My van has been in the shop and dh and I are juggling one car this week. It is tough, but thanks to friends and coworkers who help it has worked.

I am sorry you are having to deal with this. I honestly never hear of a company using someone's personal vehicle for work deliveries
