Both Dh and I make the bed together each morning. Him on his side and me on mine. The only day it doesn't get made is the morning we pull the sheets off to wash them. Then I take sheets to landry and he takes bed pillow (4) out to line to air.
Teamwork is our lifestyle that way no feels like the workhorse.

If I don't at least pull the blankets up to my pillow, the dog gets up on the bed and licks my sheets.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

The first thing that I do in the morning - as soon as we are both out of bed is - open the bedroom window, pull back the quilts and let the whole room air.
I LOVE the smell of a newly aired room.
After a while (sometimes it is an hour or two, sometimes just 15 minutes - depends on my time and the weather) I make up the bed. I do this every day.

I make it, but not directly after I get up. I heard a doc on tv say something about letting it air dry for a few minutes when you get up. Something to do with all those nasty little mites that are in each and every one of you all's beds.

I wait till I'm getting dressed for the day. After coffee!

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't...depends on if I am running late to the dog park and said dog is driving me crazy or not.

I make my bed every single day and have always been teased by dh and the kids about it too
I don't do it immediately though; I let it air out for at least an hour. So usually right after tea and a shower.

I don't full out make it look perfect every day. But the covers are pulled up and it's somewhat made every day lol. If that makes sense. I don't want the cats on my sheets, so I keep them covered.
Like others, my allergist recommended letting the covers air out a bit before making the bed. The small buggies like warm, dark places.

Yes! If I can tend to little things like this, it motivates my family to pick up and put up. If I left the bed unmade, all of a sudden everyone is dropping everywhere.

Yes I make my bed 95% of the time right after I get up. Once that is done and the room is tidy I feel I don't have to go back in there later to do it. It looks nice and not a cluttered mess.
Although I don't mind getting into a bed ( at least mine) even if it is rumpled with the big down comforter. I like the look and calm of a nice made bed though. I like order most of the time.Married 22 years to Mark

I make my bed after I get the kids on the bus. I can't stand to get into a bed that hasn't been made, ewww.
