Hello from Australia
Hello, my name is Angela. I joined up a little while ago, but never posted.
In the past i have been very bad with credit cards
which has resulted in me have approximate $28k in personal debt.
I have recently become very motivated to get everything paid off quickly and have completely re-done my budget and am actually off to open a couple of savings accounts next week.
I look forward to chatting with everyone and hopefully can get some wonderful tips and stay motivated along the way.

Welcome! Jump on in the water's fine!
Motivational thought...
$28,000 is a lot of money..but it is less than the average amount owed for student loans, or even a major hospital stay.. it is a decent car...but not a great one.
You can do this! And we're here to help!

Thanks for the warm welcome
Thevail - yes it is. Funnily enough, i could do with a new car but im not getting one until the debts are paid off. Im quite happy to have a car loan, but i hate the debt i currently have, its just wasted money really (all bar about $5k which came from a europe holiday last year when i found out i had to take leave with out pay).
My budgets are all set up until Dec 2011 and it must all be paid by then. Now i just wish next Thursday pay day would come so i can get started on it all!
