Since dh got laid off we are looking at pre-paid phones so that we can get rid of our service from verizon (our contract ended in October so we won't have to pay a fee to disconnect).

We are trying to figure out which ones are good. It looks like Net10 is better than Trac because of the price. The only prices I could find on Trac's website was for their no contract plan and the lowest was $9.99 for 50 minutes, whereas Net10 was $15 for 150 minutes. I know with Trac phone, you can buy a phone that gets double minutes for the life of the phone. I am trying to figure out which is a better value and which has better service?

Does anybody else have these and know how they are? Any suggestions and advice would be great.
