This week has been awful..now a car accident!

It all just came to a head today. My goal is to sit on the couch with a blanket over my head until monday!

Wednesday, a TREEfell on my Moms house. I cut my ankle open trying to do a little work due to it in her back yard. (Insurance has been called and tree man has left estimate..I hope)

Thursday I lost my car keys--I NEVER do that! Founf a set that I thought might work, realized we have turn key deadbolts, can't get OUT OF THE HOUSE through the front..Go out the back door we never use because I didn't want to leaving the glass doors unlocked because if you look in the window you can see it unlocked. It is cold and raining, mud and flood aglore.

Get to back gate...hmmmm no KEY for lock. 40 year old woman in heels CLIMBS the fence, not well, but I did it.

Great news key WORKS!

Tell dd to meet me at gate and help her over. Try and get dd to school. We are late for benchmark test. Luckily she is allowed in to take it.

Go to Mom to make sure she is still okay. Head home, climb back over fence, safety lock on back door. WHO KNEW?? Not me. Locked OUT of the house.

Climb back over the fence call dh from car. Drive out to his work for key to the house. Run by walmart to make spare keys to go with spare car key. Not a one of them works! Figures.

Hide until time to pick up dd from school.

Today, I got my car sideswiped.

I was sitting at the light and a lady in order to avoid hitting someone hit me and someone else.

Neck hurts, back hurts, pinched nerve...same as my last accident.

Joy.

Both doors crushed and scraped on drivers side.

Lucky for me I had just left my dh and he turned around and came and was there with me. Nice to have my fella there when I needed him let me tell you!

Will get police report Tuesday, see about car repairs. With 3 of us our stories were the same. I think the lady who hit us thinks the accident was the lady she almost hit who fled the site fault but I said at the end of the day YOU hit us. She has called twice--I didn't answer. Now it is time for the insurance companies to deal. Everyone was nice, she told the police man she hit us an why but the "other"lady who turned left had a green ball, not an arrow, but a green ball none the less and A. true, she went at a bad time and the lady who hit me would have hit her period BUT B. the cop said it was LEGAL for the"other" lady to turn and C. The "other" lady didn't hit anyone so yeah, the lady who hit us has to pay!

I am going to watch battlestar Galactica and go to bed!

I know I am talking crazy and rambling.......ahhhh!

Wow! You've had quite the week and it sounds like you're having the same icky, crummy weather we're having.

(At least we're getting rain.) I'm glad you weren't hurt worse in your accident. Definitely let the insurance companies duke it out now. Get some rest, you need it. I hope you're feeling better tomorrow. Things have got to get better from here.

Wow. What a horrid week.

I work in a medical library so take my word for this - I prescribe hot steaming cocoa, preferably made and brought to you on a pretty tray by someone else, and bed rest. Lots of bed rest.

Hope it gets better and you recover from your injuries soon without too much pain.

o no !! When it rains it pours !! Yikes, so sorry you are going through these things. From 2005 thru 2008 I had nothing but a series of bad luck. I really feel for you. Hang in there !!!

When it rains, it pours. Hope things will go better for you. Be careful with that back. That's no fun thing to have to go through. I'v had 2 surgeries and need 2 more one in neck the other in lower back.

Hope your feeling better soon, and things will soon be looking up. Try to remember the rainbow always shows best after the rain!

Take care of your neck and back, my husband ended up totally disabled after a car accident! Those type injuries are nothing to be messed with.
If the pain doesn't ease soon.....GET TO THE DOCTOR!
