they have art at various locations on the campus. one of them is a statue... of fries. golden fries. yellow really.

someone decided to add the mcds. which is not a part of the art. but the statue is really there. and located between those two buildings which are libraries/dorms.

There are a LOT of places within 2 hours. MA isn't that big

Maine coastline, NH coastline, White Mountains, Berkshires, Cape Cod, Rhode Island

within 2 hours of me:
Carlinville Il - 30 minutes away. . . beautiful county courthouse, some lovely B&B's, large section of Sears homes, etc.
Springfield IL - 60 minutes away. . . . all the Lincoln stuff, some Frank Lloyd Wright buildings, state museum, state capital building, Washington park and the carillon, etc.
St. Louis MO - 90 minutes away . . . lots to do. . we love the zoo and the art museum especially.
Lots of little towns along the rivers with antique shops, etc.

I too live in a rural area in the jing weeds. And the only place that is that close is closed in the winter and now is flooded. I would love the steam engine ride though. I'd just like to get away by ourselves for a weekend
