At one point I had 5 kids who were toddlers to tweens. After a grocery trip, I remembered to get all the kids out then started making lunch and getting the little ones down for a nap. Not bad, except I left all the groceries in the van - in the summer- in South Mississippi. Yep, everything that you normally have to put in the fridge or freezer had to go in the trash.

These are great. I'm sure I've done some really forgetful things but the only one that comes to mind is from last year. I work 12 hour shifts, at one point last year I worked a 29 day straight streak and I was ready to drop. We have to wear earplugs and safety goggles in the plant. Well I clocked out and went to the store before going home. Everyone kept giving me these wierd looks. I still had my safety goggles on and my earplugs in, the ones that are on a plastic string and hang around your neck. You know the funniest part is not one single guy from work told me I still had them on while we were in line yacking like we always do.

with all our old cats (before i moved in with jason and was still in my mom's place) we have accidently started the dryer with them in it b/c we didnt knowtice them in there. lol, my mom one time while on prescribed pain meds once put like a whole container of dryer sheets in the dryer and so all our clothes smelled good for a long time and my brother's pants would suds up if they got wet.

I was working and going to school and barely getting any sleep. One day I after work I ended up taking a nap. When I woke up my clock said 7:00. I thought it was the next morning and got up and took a shower to get ready for work. All the time I kept on thinking it was awfully dark outside. I figured it was because of the time change. I was fully dressed and ready to go to work and it was still dark outside. Then I realized it was only 7:00 pm and not am.

I've put my tea-egg in the bowl of yoghurt and the muesli in the cup of boiling water. It even took me a few minutes to realize that that was the wrong way round!

Mostly I say the strangest things. My blood sugar will be low from doing one last thing before I eat. Told my mom I needed to put all the food in the grocery store (refridgerator).

I was so tired and stressed from working two fulltime jobs. I would work from 0630am-3pm on my first job and from 3:30pm-midnight on my second job then it took me an hour or two after getting home from my second job to unwind. So I was getting less than four to five hours of sleep every night. I did not have direct deposit for my payroll checks. I had bills to mail and I mistakenly put my payroll check in the mailbox. I was meaning to deposit it in the bank. Thank God I called the post office and they found it and I was able to pick it up the following day. I had already signed it...and it would have been awful if someone had cashed it.
