Ever been so tired and/or stressed you....
Well, I have been so tired lately and stressed. Just work and some money stuff. But you know how you put the milk in the kitchen cabinet or something crazy like that? I brought my laundry hamper downstairs, pushed it over to the wood stove, opened it up and grabbed a big handful of laundry, and caught myself about to throw it in! I was laughing so hard I was crying so I called my sister and she said, "Well, that's one way to take care of dirty laundry but what would you wear?"
Anyone else have any crazy stories to share?Carrie, ravenmaniac - I love my Ravens!!!!

Oh yeah, that's funny. I find myself putting things back in the fridge that should be put in the freezer. LOL Also, the remote has been in the fridge before too. LOL

I once changed ds's dirty diaper in the middle of the night. He was completely redressed before I realized I hadn't put a new diaper on him.

Seriously, I was going to throw my cat outside because she was pestering me too much when I was painting my bedroom, I stuck her in the chest freezer. I turned around and heard her meowing and realized where I put her!

Hee hee...when leaving my hotel room one day before work I realized JUST before stepping foot out of the door that although I had put on my pantyhose, uniform shirt, scarf, blazer and uniform overcoat I had neglected to put on my skirt. (I'm an flight attendant so picture someone who is all "done up" minus a skirt)
I can imagine the reaction once I got on the plane and took my overcoat off.

I think I have way too many of these kinds of stories. It's amazing how many of us put weird stuff in the fridge!

I do that too and I'm bad about trying to find something and not seeing it even though it is right in front of my face!! I did that tonight while cooking dinner. I couldn't find the salt anywhere......it was sitting on the counter right in front of me!

When my DD was little I was always exhausted becase she was a day sleeper and up all night. She was a voracious breast feeder from the time she was born. One day when I was feeding her I walked out to put the mail in the box and the mailman gave me the strangest smirk. I went into the house and realized: I had just flashed him. Thank goodess our mailbox was on the house not out on a busy street.
Another time when I was pregnant with her I had to drive downtown. When I was pregnant my feet were always swollen so I wore these canvas slip on shoes from k-Mart. Well, when I was on the highway I looked down at my feet and much to my surprise- I was wearing my bedroom slippers instead. Luckily they were corduroy and a lot like the canvas slipons. I
decided to carry on with my appointment and stare anyone down who commented.Last edited by frugalwarrior; 03-22-2009 at 10:07 PM.

lol.. these stories are hilarious.. my strangest one was putting the keys in the freezer, or when I was coming from the grocery store, I put the whole shopping bag in the freezer (toothe paste, deodorant, mouthwash) and didnt realize it until after about week, when my fiance asked about it...lol.
Or making it all the way to work, with house shoes one.. luckily I keep about 3 pairs in my office, but I didn't realize it until my boss was like.. "um Jay.. whats up with this new look of yours?".. I though she was complimenting me, until she pointed down at my slippers..
Well thats enough for now..

My first job out of college was very stressful. I went to work at 8:00 in the morning and often got home after midnight. I spent many hours at a computer editing text. I basically worked, ate and slept. At one point in the middle of the night I awoke and picked up the digital alarm clock and tried to "edit" the numbers. It took me a few seconds to realize what I was doing.

I have to chuckle. I was so stressed one time my son was omly around 3 he is 19 now and i left him in his stroller in front of the monkey cage at the zoo.We all walked out (my parents were here to visit from calif) So it was a hot summer day. I thought my my husband had him he thought i had him. We didnt have him. We have it on video. I was so upset. But he was a happy camper watching the monkey. He is autistic so was not frantic at all.
