    Hi and welcome to Frugal Village from Ontario. It's definitely possible to live a frugal and comfortable lifestyle. Right now I'm borrowing an excellent book from a friend called "Miserly Moms" by Jonni McCoy. The author mentions how she strives to be both classy and frugal, and she says that it is possible. You may be able to find a copy at your local library...it's a really good book about frugality worth reading. You'll learn a lot from this forum as well. I joined in October of last year and have enjoyed every minute.
