The ONE thing for me is that it means winter is over. I'm not much of a fan of the rest of spring...mud, rain, dirty sidewalks/streets, no green grass, no leaves on the trees.

Lower utility bills! The heat doesn't come on as often and the days I can line dry clothes outside increases. Not to mention more days of sunshine with open windows.

Sleeping at night with the windows open. I love to listen to the night sounds. Frogs calling, dogs barking in the distance, etc.

I would say just getting out into the warm air and not having to wear coats anymore, at least in between the rainy days!

-opening the windows and airing out the house.
-playing outside more
-my kids smelling like fresh air
-FLOWERS
I really do love winter, but one of the things I like about living in NY is that I really enjoy the changing seasons. I look forward to something in each of them.

Being able to putter in my flower gardens, watching the new plants shoot up out of the ground, the critters and birds doing the things that they do and watching my grandkids play outside.
