Do you ever have to leave FV...
In order to get your projects finished?
I come to Fv and love the advice, the comments, and the fabulous motivation I get.
But then it's like an addiction and I've had to physically turn my computer off so that I'll actually finish all my projects!

yup - it's easy to get addicted to it. I have to monitor my time or else I spend hours here. It's not a bad thing, as we all know, just needs to be a part of a balanced life for me.
I know that I feel more focused if I have time at FV when I start my day.
You know - as addictions go - this certainly ranks up here as one of the best!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I have my cell phone alarm set and when it goes off I have to get off FV and start my day. When I am done w/chores or errands I get back on for a coffee break. I love seeing what everyone is doing and has to say.

nope. i usually bring my projects to the computer and look up at the real time screen every couple of minutes. i never stray from the village to long.

lol! I was JUST getting ready to leave the forums when I saw this thread! LOL. It IS addictive. But I learn so much! And I'm considering just spending more time in a certain section to gather some info on HM mixes and stuff. I want to concentrate on that aspect of my pantry for the time being. That way my time is more productive while I'm on here. I can't get hardly anything done because of this place! LOL ( meant that in a good way).

now if i could just figure out how to take this out into the yard with me without getting it full of dirt.....hum.....

i try to start my day off too here and check in acouple times a day when its kids arent on it after school. The first year I joined I was totally addicted!!!! Always on it. Hubby said breath- go outside lol

If I am home, I am on and off FV all day. I never shut my computer off, I probably should......but. I just pop in every little bit and click "new posts" and see if there's anything new I need to know, lol.

Yes I have....there is life other than fv. It took me a number of years to learn that. Having an addictive personality, I need to monitor all use of the computer.
