    Default Wierdest shopping trip ever...

I went through all my half (or even less) completed projects last night...

Good GRIEF! I started to get into overwhelm when I kept thinking, "I should really just finish that, but.."

I suddenly realized that almost all of the projects were missing one measly thing that kept me from completing them.

    I needed:
Buttons for the dress i never finished
Two grommets for the large door hanging organizer
Special thread to finish tying a quilt
Fusible interfacing for about a half dozen things.
Quilt batting for another baby quilt (um..the kids 3 now)
One shelf bracket to replace the one that got mangled in shipping (don't ask)
knit ribbing for the 4 T-shirts I started
A liner for the wicker plant pot I bought at a yard sale for 25 cents. (That poor aloe plant..it has waited sooo long)
    etc. etc. etc.

But I made a list..and today I went and bought all that stuff, and put it with the relevant project.

And finished 3 projects just today!

    I highly reccomend it.

How focused and inspiring!! Don't you love it when you just jump in and get it done. Congrats!!

    Good for you!

I wish you were a neighbor -- at the thrift store I bought several POUNDS of t-shirt ribbing for about five dollars! I'll never use it all.

    You did good.

A few years ago I finally finished my ds#2's birth sampler. He was 14 when I finished it.

I wish you were my neighbor too! And not just because I just dropped over 5 bucks on just a couple yards of the stuff
