Get it dried by sunlight(orange peel),then make a power of it and you can use for face. It gives glow to your skin and the skin will shine. Mix the orange peel powder with curd and then apply, leave it for 1/2 an hour and wash the face.

When I when we were small and had an upset stomach, my mother used to make orange peel tea. She would take the peel and place it in water to make tea out of it. I still do this for my kids. You have to boil the peel till the water turn a brown tint, NOT orange or greenish. It is not done till it turns brownish. Put some sugar in it and drink. It does work well.

Feed them to the garbage disposal, simmer them in a pot of water with my "old used" tea bags to add scent to the house.
We also feed them to our worms (vermicompost) as well as to the normal compost pile.
If you are concerned at all about pesticides, I would not cook with them unless they are organic. Those peels hold the majority of the chemicals that farmers use in the fields; Making a marmalade of chemical peels would not be high on my list of things to eat. Likewise, I don't use them for zesting if they are not organic, but also realize that others don't worry about things like this.

Cat's hate the smell of citrus.
I've put the dried peels in a sachet and tucked them under the corner of my husband's armchair to keep them from scratching it. It seems to work.
My husband has an orange every morning for breakfast, so the sachet is frequently changed.

I agree with the PP about the chemicals... one thing that greatly reduces the chemicals on all fruits is 50/50 vinegar and water spray.
I was also wondering about cleaning tips so I googled "cleaning with orange peels and found these helpful sites. Scroll down on the second one to see how to extract the essential oils!

I love the idea of keeping the cats away from around the cans here so close to larger appt buildings next door. Plus I keep bricks(lg) on can to keep all critters out, no way racoon can open them from the weight.

You can grind them with cranberries in a food processor and cook with some water and sugar or splenda and it makes a wonderful cranberry sauce with turkey or chicken. Good for you too!
A friend enjoys her coffee with orange peels in with the coffee grinds. She likes the orange flavored coffee.
