Meeting forHISglory
[COLOR="DarkGreen"]I am not trying to keep you all in suspense but I still don't have my internet hooked up at the new place. As all of you know, Wendell and I have been preparing to move since we lost our home. Well this past weekend was the weekend and it was truly a weekend of blessing.
I have pictures of our meeting and a wonderful story I promise to get posted for you soon. I just wanted to let you know that forHISglory is as wonderful in person as she comes across to us here on FV. I look forward to many more visits with her and her DH.
If any of you are interested in viewing our story, it was on our local news last night and they interviewed forHISglory. You can see it on www.kfvs12.com The story is labeled 'Forclosure... Moving On'.
Take care and will post again soon!

That is so amazingly awesome!!!!
What an incredible story and how wonderful to see you and forHisglory and hear how she and the church were able to help! It was really cool to see Frugal Village featured on the news, too!!
Wishing you all the best in your new home, Debbie!

I knew when I clicked on the link that I shouldn't watch it because I would be crying by the end! I was right! But it was so good to see your face and see what you look like!
I'm so glad that you guys had a wonderful turnout and had people there to help! Kudos to forhisglory for helping you and even finding addtional help! She is so wonderful!
I'm glad you guys have that sad part over with, and now maybe you can get over the sadness of an ending and begin the fun part of a new beginning!

Thanks for posting your story, how touching! I have been watching your story since last fall, as kfvs12 is our local new also. It took me a while to put it all together that it was one of our fv'ers, duh. I hope you have many wonderful years in your new home!

Just want you all to know that the pleasure was mine in meeting cmdarlin and her hubby. Hubby and I were most impressed with these gentle, yet gutsy people, who have responded with grace and dignity in their bad circumstances.
The real thanks should go to the church that stepped in and just loved them to pieces. How marvelous that they rented a UHaul that was just the right size (a miracle right there), and had so many folks come out and work on a chilly rainy Saturday, and then fixed a meal for cmdarlin and her DH........
And the real glory should go to our Heavenly Father, who knew the need and the solution before any of us, and worked His mysterious ways to bring it all together.Spiritual:
"You are fearfully and wonderfully made." Please... respect life.
Financial:
Debt free, hoping to stay that way!

4. Continue to be looking for how God wants to use me this year.
