    Talking Another little newbie!

    Namaste everyone!

How did you hear about frugal village? Searching for budget making, and getting out of debt tips!

What interests you here? EVERYTHING. And I think I've only looked at a few articles! I really want to learn how to spend less money, put away more savings, and have a better living plan.

What will you contribute? Money-wise, I seem to be only good at spending it.. lol! However I am quite a skilled cook, especially in Asian and Indian cusine. I'm well with computers, so if anyone needs a bit of tech help I'd be happy to try!

Do you know any other members here? Nope!

How many kids? Ages? None yet

Tell us about yourself. I'm a 32 year old bird that got into a ton of trouble with medical debt after becoming ill with an auto immunity disease. I lost my well paying job, couldn't make payments on my house, and eventually ended up in a spare bedroom in my mothers house, 200 miles away! I work two part time jobs now, in desperate hopes to save enough to get out of my debt, and move on to a new career and life!

Do you own any pets? None right now, but I have many plans for when I get my own place again!

Occupation? I'm a digital artist, and I also work part time for an organics bath and body products store called Lush!

    Married or single? Single

Interests and hobbies? I love to draw and paint, read, and cook! I could spend all my time in the kitchen, (and sometimes I do!) I'm also a sort of modern day nerd, fixing computers, playing video games, and what have you. I'd like to learn to crochet and garden this year!

That was probably really boring! haha! I can't wait to get started and take an active role in bettering my life! Nice to meet you all!

Welcome! I am a newbie, too!

Oh my!!! You work for Lush?!!! One of the reasons that I am a newbie here is a little website called makeupalley.com.....I got in alot of trouble financially because I developed a terrible addiction to bath and body products and altho I adore Lush it was eating a huge hole in my pocket!!! How on earth do you work there and bring home any money?!!!! LOL!

Hahaha!!! sometimes it isn't easy! Suffice it to say we do get a heavy discount, but I curb myself and wait for those key moment when someone returns a product, or a product falls on the floor and smashes.... then we get to take it home! Talk about frugal right? LOL!
