Music....
Just a silly Friday question....
I'm curious what kinds of music everyone listens to? Do you have an ipod or mp3 player?
What cd is in your player right now?
If you are listening to music right now, what song are you listening to?S

Our MP3 player is full of all sorts of goodies:
Girl power music - Beyonce, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Pussycat Dolls, etc.
Contemplation music - Tool, Primus, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Renholder, 30 Seconds to Mars
Thrash around the house music - Mudvayne
We also have The Tea Party and David Archuleta on it. It really depends on my mood.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

I like all kinds of music, everything from country to rock, pop, hip hop, etc. I don't care much for rap though. I especially like Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Saving Abel, Ne-Yo, Def Leppard, Justin Timberlake.
I do have a cheap mp3 player and it has everything on it from the Jonas Brothers to Conway Twitty to AC DC to Soula Boy.
In the cd player in the Blazer is a cd that I burned from different songs. It has some country, rock, hip hop, etc.
Right now I am listening to a song called "I Don't Care" by Fall Out Boy!Last edited by WV_mom_of2; 04-03-2009 at 11:18 AM.

I have an ipod. It has everything on it, lol. I love lots of different kinds of music. I have contemporary christian, southern gospel, christian rock, old school hip hop, classic rock, country, top 40, and reggae. I seriously think that anyone could listen to my ipod and find some music they like.
What cd is in your player right now?
Selah is currently in my car cd player
If you are listening to music right now, what song are you listening to?
listening to a Dave Ramsey podcast on my ipod

I have an ipod with a little bit of everything on it. There's everything from Rascal Flatts, John Mayer, Hairspray Soundtrack, Michael Buble, Colbie Caillat, Beetoven to Aerosmith. I like pretty much everything except for hip hop, rap or the really heavy metal stuff. Right now I am listening to Taylor Swift's Fearless album on my ipod.

My Ipod and my CD players usually have the same stuff on it.
I like almost every kind of music except country.
I listen to Dave Mathews Band a lot. I also like Indigo Girls. Other than that, I will listen to anything.

I have an iPOD. My musicals taste is eclectic, but I mostly like alternative, reggae, world, new age, and folk.
Right now, I'm listening to The Judybats, an awesome alternative band from the 90's. I wish they were still together. Next on today's playlist are The Smiths.

We have an iPod Touch and two iPod Nannos. All of them are filled with Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Toby Keith, Alabama, Kid Rock, and many other country artists. So far our iTunes library has over 1000 songs divided into a couple of different playlists.
We use the iPod home instead of a CD player in the house.
In the car I am content to listen to the radio. We have two good country stations I flip between and sometimes I can pck up a third one.
I really only like country music. The only real exception is Ozzy's Crazy Train. I love that song!!!DD (19)

No ipod or mp3, but we have enough cds to open a store. In the car... AC/DC, Sheryl Crow, Smashing Pumpkins, John Mayer, Lynyrd Skynyrd & Coldplay. DH has quite a music collection, but mostly classic rock w/soft rock & alternative for me.

I rarely listen to music anymore....just in the car. I have satelite, and it's usually 60's-80's music. Dh won an MP3 player at a business function....he uses it quite a bit and we do plug it into our headsets when we ride the motorcycle. So...whatever he downloads...I'm fine with.

I listen to many kinds of music, but am most drawn to vocals where the words are clearly understandable. I am extremely fond of Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Il Divo, and Russell Watson, but am also likely to listen to Charlotte Church, Dolly Parton, Barbara Streisand, and other singers that produce more modern-style music. I also really like music from other cultures, including african music, indian music (both kinds of indian) and cantonese music (hard to find).

We have Pandora on when we are at home. We don't own an IPOD. I can't justify the cost. We do have lots of cd's and we keep copies of them in the cars.
On Pandora, today (and most school days), we have "bubblegum oldies" on. We also have:
an Elvis channel
a Weird Al channel
a Billy Idol channel
an Iron Man channel
a We're Not Gonna Take It channel
a Tommy Roe channel
and a Creedence Clearwater Revival channel.
We used to have a Queen channel but I deleted it a while back when I was cleaning up our channels. I need to go through and clean them up again apparently.
In the cars, we mainly listen to 80's music because those are the kinds of cd's we own.Beak-1996, Toad-1998, and Q-1998
