Visitor to the ranch
Ever since I installed the goldfish pond, the lizard population has exploded. One of the few creatures who lives here who DOESN'T freeload off of me!

Awww, s/he's cute! I kind of miss lizards. We had the little anoles all over the place in AL. I do not miss the one that popped out of my printer while I was at my desk one morning *shudder*

I don't mind lizards "in theory". But I don't think I'd want them wandering around in my back yard!
I'll stick with the aggresive chipmunks we have around here!

Your new visitor is a cutie. I can't wait for the little lizards to come out here. They are newts. I have had one or two jump out while I'm gardening. They look funny when their tails are missing.

Yeah, I like my little lizards. They hang out and watch me while I'm working outside. My own little pest control company.

I love seeing the lizards come out in the Spring. They are so fun to watch but hard to catch when they get inside. lol

Wow spring/summer is on it's way for sure...I have to wait till our toads pop out and hop around...then I know it will be really spring and not all the fake spring and then blizzards then back to 80 degrees again...
Toads and lizards I admire from afar.....I cant pick them up but I will tolerate them...I have a friend who will NOT even ring my doorbell in the summertime,,,she's afraid of the toads that hop around my yard...there are so many it looks like my yard is moving sometimes.

Yes, I get the really HUGE toads, but they come out at night. It does freak me out if I have to go out at night and I hear what sounds like a rat moving in the leaves next to me! They are harmless, though, and are just getting out of my way.
mom2knk, just imagine how freaked out the poor lizard is by that huge two-legged thing that disturbed his nap!!
