All great choices! I feel the same!

Lately though just with the way things are going in the world I keep coming to this one to remind me who is in control.

1 Cor 2:5 Your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." When I found the Lord this verse became very real to me! I love it so much, because really what else needs to be said! In Christ, Tina

    Yes, mine is:

    Hebrews 13:5

5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

I have 2 favorites..they have gotten me through some pretty dark valleys in my life.

The first one is in my signature from 2Corinthians 4:18

"We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

the second is from Jer 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
"We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
    - 2 Corinthians 4:18

Proverbs 3:27 (KJV) Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Psalm 91 Be not afraid of the terror by night or the arrow that flies by day

A thousand shall fall by thy side ten thousand by thy right but it will not come nigh thee.

for he has given his angels charge over thee

Mine is without a doubt mathew 6:25-34

Rather than typing it I went to bible gateway...

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

    Do Not Worry
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[b]?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

But you, when you pray, enter into your room. And shutting your door, pray to your Father in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly. Mat 6:6
