Hello from North Western Ontario!!
I am excited to be part of this community. I hope to learn a lot about living frugally and even better to meet some good like-minded friends here. Here is a little bit about me.
How did you hear about frugal village? I was searching for info on frugal meals and here I am.
What interests you here? New ways to live frugally, including meals, debt reduction, alternative means of saving money.
What will you contribute? I am hoping that I can contribute something, but I am just starting so initally it may be limited.
Do you know any other members here? Not yet but I have high hopes of meeting some good friends.
How many kids? Ages? No Kids (DINKs)
Tell us about yourself. I have gotten myself into huge debt issues by thinking I could take a year off from teaching and work full-time as a realtor. BIG MISTAKE! How we managed to get ourselves into probably close to $60K in debt not including our mortgage is overwhelming. We are still able to pay our minimums, but not much else. We are hoping to refinance in the near future, but the next 5 months will be tough. I am going back to teaching in September after a 1 yr leave of absence, but I won't know until June what my position will be. I know I need to refinance to survive, but I need ideas for the future to reduce our money output and hopefully save for the future.
Do you own any pets? I have 3 beagles and I super cuddly cat.
Occupation? This is complicated. I currently have 3 jobs, 4 in september! Primarily I am a realtor and I will be returning to teaching in September from a leave of absence. I also have 2 part-time jobs.
Married or single? Married 10 years on May 1st! How I survived, I have no idea.
Interests and hobbies? I enjoy, lampwork bead making, playing the bajo (just learning), cooking, computers, being a volunteer firefighter, country living.

I used to live in Ottawa (and will be there later this month for work). Where in North Western Ontario are you? Near James Bay/Kirkland Lake?
