Default turning the cable back on

the recent thread on poor/slow quality internet connection motivated me to join the 21st century.

due to financial issues during the divorce, i had to cut the cable off. now that I am in a better financial situation, I have arranged for bundled service with faster internet .

Becuase i will be having a stay-cation this summer, i can justify it. it will be something to do besides gardening and painting my ceilings. i will admit that i really missed it.

    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

We have what our cable company calls the "standard package". No movie channels or digital cable, but we still have great channels like HGTV, National Geographic, History Channel, etc. I really do like having these channels and watch them frequently. Enjoy your cable!
