We have this problem also. The lady next door feeds every cat around and they all seem to migrate to her house, and spray, we had to tear down the play house becuase the cats sprayed so bad. We have used moth balls in flower beds and under the porch. They dont like the smell. red chili pepper sprinkled around. But once they have sprayed its very very hard to get out. Sams club has a product you can use on patio furniture ect, its called odo ban. Its about $10 for a gallon it will last forever.

hee hee..your Hubby could pee on the spot they marked and on them...technically it would work since "spraying" is a way that Tom's mark territory.

Practically speaking though.. your hubby running around your yard with his pants at half mast may scare away the neighbors but be less than effective on the cats..they're quick!

You could try planting a coleus-canina plant. The smells is supposed to offend cats. The also don't like citrus smells, so maybe sprinkle some orange and lemon peels around your house.

I vote on having hubby "water" the areas. We used to have the boys "use" a part of our yard to help keep discourage the wild animals from using our yard as a "pass through". They would come from this one area and walk across our yard to somewhere else.

    Side note:
We are an acre behind an acre (flag lot). No one could see the boys.
