    Default barbie doll clothes

    just a question as a older chick 63 with no grandchildren i am out of touch with barbie doll clothes and i really enjoyed making them for my daughter when she was little do little girls still play with the clothes and do they like the homemade ones

    Yes, they do, and I'm sure they would like homemade ones too. I know my dd's have asked me to make them in the past. :yes:

    My daughter loves the clothes my mom made for my barbies. Lots of funky patterns and styles and lots of lace.

    When I have small amts. of yarn left over from projects, I knit my sister's grandkids some Barbie clothes. They seem to like them.

    I'm like you, no grandkids of my own, yet.

    My 5 year old daughter plays with barbies. I crocheted her barbie a coat once when we couldn't find one in the store. Now when "barbie" wants a new outfit, I have to crochet it! :-) I love doing it and she gets something she wants and is original (and modest! you can't find modest barbie clothes anymore!)

    My almost three year old loves barbies (she has inherited her sister's old dolls) and loves to take off and put back on their clothes (well she's good at taking them off, but I always end up putting them back on) and swap the clothes with the different dolls. She would love barbie clothes whether they are homemade or not!

    Sure! My daughter loves any Barbie clothes. I used to make my own doll clothes when I was younger (they weren't very good but I was self taught and they worked for me). I am sure any little girl would love homemade clothes.
