    Default Going to the prom...........

after saying for months that she was NOT going, my dd has decided to go the prom LOL. She didn't want to go because noone asked her. She is very old fashioned and even after I told her it would be ok to ask a male friend to go as her date she refused. She said "girls do NOT ask guys out!" Anyway, most of her friends decided that they were going without dates too so she is now going. She is such a thrifty girl.....I've taught her well!

I hope your DD has lots of fun at the prom. Don't forget to budget in the cost of pre-prom dinner, prom pictures, after-prom party (atleast we had a hs sponsored after prom party) etc!

Good for her! I've seen some kids at pre-prom dinners at Pizza Hut. It was cute and fun looking.

She has decided that since she's going alone she doesn't want the official prom pictures taken. We are going to take tons here and she's going to take her camera with her to get pics with her friends.

No pictures, dinner or after party here! She doesn't want to have the official pictures taken since she is going alone. She will eat dinner here and come straight home afterwards. Our school doesn't have an after prom party.
