Default found a relative last nite.

jason and i are doing a genealogy tree. we were not able to find anything about my dad's side for awhile. i fianally got my grandpa's name from my mom when we were coming back from meijers. jason looked on ancestry.com and found a lady that was looking for info on my dad and aunt's (the original message on the board was from 2002). i emailed her early this morning (thats when we found her message and her email address). i got a reply a couple hours ago. her mom was my grandpa's sister and she said that another sister of his is still living. the aunt remembers my dad. when merrick gets out of the bath tub and sleeping in his room i will call her and probbably after i talk to her i will talk to my dad. might be a longshot but we might have a family reunion this 4th of july. sorry if this doesnt make any sense im just a little excited right now.

That is an amazing feeling. I helped my grandpa find his cousins back in 2000. My great grandpa was given up for adoption back in 1910, so it was very hard finding them. SInce that time we have had 2 family reunions. It is amazing what you can do with the internet! Good luck!
