unemployment 9 kinda long sorry)
Well I have been getting unemployment for a while now and I got my last partial check last week. I am able to get extended benefits for a few more months but they aren't able to tell me when they will start showing up. I have to get applications and then fill out a form with where I tried to get a job and make sure that everything is to right on the form right up to getting my name right on the return envelope. If not they will send it back. So on top of all the rest of stress of bills and sd problems I can add this. Before ,every other Sunday I did the claim online and by Wenesday the money was there so I could pay bills. Now I have no idea week to week when it will be there or if I screwed up and have to redo it. I hope the bill people will work with me. I managed to get things caught up and don't want to get behind again. Thanks for listening

I got some good news. The house we live in is "airy" to say the least. My daughter and her husband are tearing down a house and has 4 double hung insulated windows we can have. That will help on the heating bills alot. Yo ucan actually see the curtains move when it's windy right now. They also have a big bag of new insulation for us. We figure all of this will save us almost 500 bucks.

Unemployment can sure be a pain at times can't it? I drew this winter while I was laid off. It was the first time I have ever done it. The government ordered everyone to get an extra 25.00 a week starting the last week in Feb. Did WV do it? NOPE! I got my last check on April 14. It was only for one week because I had gone back to work the second week. IT had my extra 25.00 on it and they included a letter saying that we would receive a lump sum check for the back amount. But it doesn't say when we will get it. They should owe me another 125.00. So I guess we sit and wait until they get ready to pay us an already overdue amount.
I hope they get it worked out for you and it's not to much of a pain for you to get your money. It sure does come in handy!S

While things are so tight now, it might be a good time to see if you can qualify for home energy improvements through your local govt. I remember getting a grant of $8k many years ago, and it made a huge difference in bills.
