So Cool!!!
One of my current piano students is a keyboardist in a band. (He's in 5th grade
) Their band got heard at a local gig and are going to be playing at the Apollo Theater in Harlem! You know the show, Showtime at the Apollo that is on after SNL? (Well, it is in the tri-state area, at least!)

That's terrific, what an honor! I wish they showed Showtime at the Apollo here. I'd love to see them play.
