    Default Got to share...

    So for the past few months the school has been sending out reminders that they were looking for gently used clothing for a clothing give a way that happened today. I kind of forgot all about it, but a couple of cool things happened...

    One my boys BOTH wanted to go.
    Two I got a text message from my neighbor reminding me about it.

    Never thought either would ever happen.

    So off to the school we went. I ended up getting 4 and a half bags(like the thirty gallon size ones)full of next years winter coats, jeans, dresses, shirts, skirts, summer spring and for next fall... Name brands like Nike, Adidas, Aeropostal, Old Navy, Gap, Arizona Jeans just to name a few. ALL OF THIS WAS FREE!!!! I was able to get my neices and nephews some clothes, my oldest daughter, both sons and my youngest one. Tha was clothes for 9 kids in all.... YAY no worrying about shorts, or summer tops... Just a few pairs of sandals... I was feeling bad about how much I was getting until I realized it was for so many.

    Thought it was neat that my neighbor actually text me to remind me about it. She was down there too. I like that I have like minded neighbors.

    2012 Goals
    Use the vegetables from my garden and learn to preserve.
    Cut down on all unnecessary things.
    Free is best.
    Get the garage completely cleaned out. Half done-Until BIL and SIL stored their stuff--now back to square 1.
    Make the yards nice-weed, mow, plant, flowerbeds,etc.
    Stay home more/eat out less if at all.
    FIND A NEW JOB!!!

    Glad you got nice free clothes.We have 2 free stores around here and a 20 cent store.The free stores say take anything you can use or for anyone else that can use it.They have so much stuff donated they run out of room to store it.You can find about anything you need at them from clothes to furniture,appliances,even food.They sure were nice to have around when my daughters house burned and she lost everything last summer.We also have always donated to them when we do spring cleaning.My daughter just went toa yard sale Saturday and got bags of clothes for her and the kids for a dollar a bag.
