MIA but now back...
I've been MIA for the last 3 months... I lost my job on January 14th. I'm a single mother but my boyfriend lives with me and has been helping out as much as he can (I've always had the higher paying job). I've been doing ok on Unemployment and his help but have no hopes now of paying off my debt. I just went grocery shopping for two months and spent $315. That's for everything except milk and eggs. I left myself $10 per week to cover those. I need to start really getting down and save as much as I can.

Jen I know it is tough as we went through it from Oct to mid Feb. It sounds like you have a good handle on it. Just do what you can for now.
I hope you find a great job soon!

I'm sorry you've lost your job. I'm glad that your boyfriend is helping out. Hang in there and just worry about your basic needs--shelter, food and utilities. The debt can wait until you get a new job and you're back on your feet.

Luckily I'm able to afford my bills and even though it's VERY slow (being minimum payments) but being that I'm not using my credit AT ALL it is slowly getting paid off. Only thing now is I may be pregnant. I have been on Birth Control for 16 years and after 8 years on it got pregnant with my daughter and 8 years later... am 1.5 weeks late. Getting a blood test tomorrow (I don't normally show up on home test till after 7 weeks). Won't be the end of the world, I know we can all get through it wether I am or not.
