Well, we're here.....
It's done. Finally. We moved from Kansas to California. It was long, it was hard, and it's not even done yet. We are in a tiny apt untill we find a house to buy. The market is full of foreclosured homes, all of which are very difficult to buy.
We were throwing out full price offers on more than one home, and we couldn't even get a bank to look at our offers. These crazy banks would just assume sit on a forclosed home that take a full price offer.....go figure.
Anyway, so we are here. I am glad to be back......I have missed you all so much. It's nice to know that no matter where you go, you bring the village with you!!
(sorry for the negative tone of my post......this has just been very trying on us all!)

I'm in Stockton right now visiting my family. There are lots of short sales here and auctions. Hopefully you have a Realtor to help you find the right place for your family. Prices are way down, so you will get a great deal. Now is the time to buy here, I'm wanting to move back to take advantage of the depressed market, but I'm not sure if I am going to do that. Good luck to you with the adjustment period !

So I guess you sold your house? So did you make that long drive or fly? That's crazy about the banks and foreclosed homes. Good luck in the search and keep us updated how you like it there.
