MY son is very annoyed with me! I feel so bad.....
I washed his IPOD!!!!!
UGH! I went into his room, looking for laundry to fill the washer because I had wash DH's workclothes and grabbed a pair of jeans off his bed and didn't check his pockets!
I feel so bad, I have been in such a fog that I have destroyed a record number of stuff these last few weeks.
I burned two pots, dented the car door opening it by a pole, turned DH's underpants pink... (OK that was pretty funny)... but you get the picture...

Try and put it in a bag of dry rice it saved my sisters phone. It might work to save it. I do those kind of things all the time. Once I lost my car key for a whole month. I hate it when that "fog" sets in.

Oye, I imagine he is a touch miffed. I don't know anything about the tech stuff but hopefully you don't have to get him a new one.
It will get better as you are able to get more sleep and hey what man doesn't look great in pink

Oh, what a day! Sorry to hear about that - I think we all have those phases...sigh. Do try the rice thing that butterflygreen suggested - it saved my husbands cell phone after spending the winter in a snow bank! You may have to leave it in there for about a week or so though. Worth a try, if it's plain broke it certainly can't hurt!!

The rice thing does work but you have to give it a chance its not instant. At least 4 to 5 days. We had a phone take a toliet dunk and the rice did work after a few days.
I understand how your feeling I started anew med for high blood pressure and feel like I'm walking 2 feet off the ground. Doc says I'll feel right next week after body gets used to it. Won't make any life changing decisions right now.

Ouch! Hopefully a few days of rice will do the trick. I often go through bouts of "scatterbrain". This too shall pass.

I did the same thing to my son's Ipod, I used the rice idea and it worked. Try it and show him what you are doing so if he happens to do something like that when he is on his own, he will know what to do!

I have this theory in my house that if I am the one that does the laundry then it's their responsibilty to take everything out of the pockets when they take off their clothes.
Of course this was after I washed cell phones, car keys, my husbands wallet several times, lipgloss, work keys, and my own home cordless phone. lol. It happens.
Wow, never heard of the rice thing. Cool.

I would think anyone old enough to own an iPod is old enough to empty their own pockets and put their dirty laundry where it belongs. JMHO

I tell my husband and 2 sons to always check their pockets. But I still feel for anything important in my 13 yr olds jeans before washing. That said, I have washed up everything from wallets to love notes to pens.My ds temporarily lost his ipod this week and I was frantically looking through unfolded laundry to see if I had washed it up. It happens!!!! Luckily we found it in the couch cushions!! I am going to remember the rice trick though.
