I was just thinking about the fact our Farmer's Market opens tomorrow and how much I can't wait to hit it. We live in a farming county, it's our #1 industry. We have several friends and co-workers who are farmers. I grew up around farming, not in it but around it. I realized how much we give thanks to our troops, deservedly so, but we tend to ignore the sacrifices our farming families make for us daily. Without them we would be up a creek without a paddle. Anyone who gets up before sunrise or the birds start chirping and spends the day in the sweltering sun, freezing rain, and doesn't stop until everyone else has gone to bed like normal humans, deserves a huge THANK YOU in my book. So to all those here who sacrifice your days and nights to keep me and my family fat and sassy, I thank you.
