Had to share
Hubby and I run a therapeutic foster home (special needs kids). Six and 1/2 years ago, we had a teenage girl that was placed in our home that was 8 1/2 months pregnant. The young girl aged out 2 years later. I still have the 6 1/2 year old child along with her brother who is 8. I love them as though they are mine.
Anyway...they came home from school today with the Mother's day presents they had made. I love presents that they make for me. She made me a card, it was a questionaire, it had what is your mother's name, (Jan) what color hair and eyes (brown) and so on, but the one question I really enjoyed was how old is your mom (I am 50, her answer was 30) Gotta love it. Talk about made my day. Such innocence.

That is so beautiful. I know we have been praying about it. My husband is retiring next year and. when our kids move out we would like to do something and fostering is something we have been considering.

frugal fannie -- very rewarding! Have been doing this for over 10 years and have had 42 kids come through our home.
