I have been suffering all day today and yesterday with allergies. I went through a box of tissues in less than a day. nothing I take works.I don't know why they can't invent a pill in this day and age to help with bad allergies. hope you feel better.

The poplar count has been really high here this Spring and being outside doing anything before it rains kills my head. I take allergy medication every day but I usually have to take it at night to be able to wake up without congestion the next day.

If I'm out doing any yard work without allergy medication, I'm in the house every five minutes to blow my nose. It's worse in the spring and summer.

gotta get a neti pot (or something similar) you basically wash the pollen and crap out of your nose with saline.... do it everyday or at the first signs of sneezyness.......i have had terrible allergies all my life and this has significantly helped me. ordered one online but they sell a version called sinucleanse (i think) that you can get at the drug store.

Me too! My kids have both been bothered with them the last month, dd especially. She's had a spell with them with runny nose, coughing, etc. for about three weeks now. Mine hadn't bothered me until Sunday. Dh and dd came up to work and I was sitting on the porch of my office talking to them. We have alot of white pine here and it puts off a yellow dust this time of year and Sunday was the first day I noticed it on everything at work. About 15 minutes out there and my eyes were red, watering, etc.

Yesterday I spent the day sneezing and have had a scratchy throat and alot of drainage for days now! I take Benadryl at night just to sleep!

    Hope you feel better soon!

They finally got around to cutting the giant weed patch in the undeveloped cul-de-sac behind our home. OHHHHHHH that smell! I closed up the house and turned on the Nature's Air (air purification system) to clear the air. The allergy meter says we're in the medium-high count with walnut, oak, and maple being the culprits. Oh, boy, can't wait for weeds.....

We have had bad allergies here too. The pinecones are bursting open and yellow pollen is covering everything in town. That is the downside to living at the base of the mountians. Hope everyone feels better.
