Default Should I walk or not

I can't figure out if I should brave the really strong winds and blowing rain and walk to work (I generally walk all the time), or suck it up and call a cab. I feel bad spending the money on a cab but 40 min walk to work in this weather with the wind so strong could be un safe. But I can't get past the feeling I should just suck it up and walk. I hate not having any money, and to think that I could spend 10 dollars on cab just about kills me. This shouldn't be a hard choice but it is.

I think that if your gut feeling is to call a cab, then that is what I would do.

I think if you enjoy pneumonia, you should walk

I stood out in the blowing rain waiting for a bus that never came for about a hour one time. I was so incredibly sick for weeks afterwards.

Can you catch a ride with someone going your way? I'd hate being a lightening rod!

Do you have a bus system? Even if it gets you only 1/2 way closer, it is better than walking the whole way. My Mom has to face this everyday as well but she is 64 years old. It is a close to an hour walk each way, no bus service and she just can't afford the cabs either. So she walks through everything. I feel so bad that I am not there to give her a ride.

Do what you think is right. You don't want to get sick either from walking.

If it was me I'd call a cab......... My health and welll being is more important then 10 dollars. If the wind is blowing that bad , then it is blowing a lot of things around and you could get hit with something and get hurt.

Yes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.
