i guess im a little bit of both. my uncle had a computer or 2 at his place and whenever we were there we would get on one. then finally 10 yrs ago we got our own computer. we started out with windows 95 and now im on linux learning my way through it (never tried vista and probbably never will). with most stuff it takes me a week or 2 to learn my way around it.

I guess I'm a digital native when it comes to computers. Immigrant for cell phones. My mom was a school teacher, so we always had computers in the house, starting way back with the tape drive computers, was probably an Apple or Commodore in the 70's or 80's.

I think I'm somewhere in the middle, if it's possible. While I didn't have computers and gadgets from birth, the wave hit when I was in my teens and it's been mostly my generation that has pushed the development of technology. My husband had a computer company and a small product he invented while he was in his 20's. My college friends went to work writing computer games that your kids play. Guys I dated are listed in the credits in the back of user manuals. In my late 20's I helped build the cell phone network that many of you use today. I spent last weekend with one of those college friends who is now writing new cellphone applications. DH continues to develop new technology products. None of this stuff was around before we made it, but we're not new to it either.
