What's with me and water??/
I seem to be having a serious issue with water and or things that run on water. You may remember a while back my dishwasher was full of water and dh had to fix it. Well it's doing it again! I'm back to doing dishes by hand. Which would be ok IF my water heater hadn't blown up last night. I had just finished washing dishes and sat down to watch tv when ds came running upstairs (they sleep in the basement where the water heater is) yelling that the carpet was soaked. Dh went to look and our water heater was spewing water out the top. Yippee! We had to cut it off, then go to work and get the shop vac to suck the water out of the carpet. Dd took a shower at the park while we were getting the shop vac and this morning I had to heat water on the kitchen stove to take a bath! Oh the joy!!
Let's NOT forget that my washing machine also blew and I did laundry in tubs by hand for two weeks before giving up and buying a new one.
Then I was trying to pressure wash one of the boardwalks off at work last weekend and the pressure washer blew up! They bought a new one and finished it for me.
Today I was opening up one of the bath houses and had to scrub mildew off the bathroom wall. I hooked up the water hose and sprayed one part of the wall down. Laid down the hose and started scrubbing wall with the broom. Just now I feel water start at my ankles and go up my back. I was soaked from my feet to my neck! My first thought was that one of the guys I work with had snuck into the bathroom and soaked me with the hose. I turned around, ready to do some major damage on someone and guess what? A hole had popped into the hose and water was shooting all over me! LOL!
I'm thinking it might be a really good idea to avoid the pool at all costs this summer!!!S

You poor thing! Maybe you should just shut off all water at your place for a while until the water gremlin leaves!

Have never heard of anyone having adventures with water as you have had!! How can you change it into something positive - I mean - with all that energy? Take care of yourself!!

ROFL! So far nothing else has blown up so maybe my bad luck is over for the moment. Now to save up 488.00 for a new water heater!
I guess we've lived in this house long enough(14 years) and had all the appliances long enough that it's just time for them all to go. But do they have to all go at the same time??S
