    Default Last Day of School

I can hardly wrap my head around this. Where did this year go? We had no snow days to make up either....it just seems awful early for school to get out. I remember my mom telling me "as you get older, the years go faster." How true it is.

My oldest who will be a freshman has a jammed packed summer with marching band practice, band camp, work, scout camp, drivers ed and the list goes on. But I'd rather see him busy than sitting around playing video games.

My youngest, will probably spend her days at the pool. I can buy her a swim pass for $10 for all summer long to use at any of our 4 city pools. Well worth it.

I know this summer will fly by....and next thing you know, I'll be sitting here talking about buying school supplies

At times, I want to scream for this merry-go-round to stop and let me off so I can catch my breath.

I surely can relate! I think you mother and mine were right! I can't believe that it is already the middle of May! No sooner will you be shopping for school supplies and then we will be getting ready for Christmas! UGH!
