    Red face Hi all! New to this but hope to get to know you

    Hi!

    I am a 50 year old grandma from Michigan who loves to garden, quilt and build stuff with wood. I work full time as a seamstress-have for the past 30 years and I have also returned to school to get a degree in information security and technology (9 classes left-- YAY!!!) I am hoping to connect with others and hopefully get a few ideas to add to those already swimming around in my head which may be a benefit to all. This world today is getting out of control and I would like to prepare for the worst and hope for the best by becoming more self-sufficient. Hope to hear from some of you!
