    Default Hello from Romulus MI

Hello, I started using coupons a year ago and I am saving quite a bit. I have also started buying a few coupons on the internet as well. I was wondering if anyone has cost saving ideas for pet food. I coupon and double coupon when I can for pet food. However I have started to wonder if it is not cheaper and healthier to make their food. I have six cats and a dog. Three of my cats can only eat canned food due to infirmities. Any pet lovers have good recipes or ideas to save on my four legged family. Diane

    Hello and welcome from PA.
I buy pet food for 2 dogs and 1 cat. I use coupons when I can get my hands on them. It's still expensive.

Hi and welcome from a fellow Michigander! I have 2 dogs and a cat and pet food can be expensive. Stocking up on food when you have coupons is a great way to save.

Hi, welcome from Mi. I just purchased A BOOK via E-BAY on cat treats. I have 12 cats. I get all my cat food at Sams club . The dry is Iams and they have improved in health for using it over Science Diet(greaassy). You didn't say whats wrong but can they eat dry if you wet it?

Hi and welcome from Fraser, MI I'm not sure if you want to check it out; but there is a store on Mound and Chicago Road named k9 and there prices are known to be good. I haven't had cats, so I'm not sure about the prices on cat food. You might want to check it out.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. In answer to one question about infirmities with my cats. One might be able to eat dry food if I wet it because she has all her teeth but is 16 and vomits dry food up. But two are toothless . They came from the same litter, stray mom poor prenatal care what teeth that came in was all nubs and crooked and they kept getting infections. They are only five but My vet recommended pulling them all but one front tooth to help them keep their tongue in their mouths . I know they do look funny but they are healthier. Diane
