What time is it? Summer time
At least it will be at 4:00 today

I'm so excited to have the children home from school. I'll no longer have a 2nd and 6th grader but a 3rd and 7th grader ( why does that sound so much older)
I'm picturing helpers with the house chores so we can go play.
The children are excited for a family meeting where they help us decide what chores need to be completed each week. If the chores are all done we get to go swimming on Friday.
My oldest picked out a book for him ans well as a book for me to read out loud to them this summer. My youngest picked out several chapter books she is planning on reading.
Yeah it is summer time

Lucky you! My preschooler is out, but my 2nd grader still has 2 weeks left of school. And after having to pry him out of bed this morning...I can't wait until I can let them sleep in!

Have fun this summer, I know we will once it officially starts!
