Interesting reading so far. And I think it's good that he's showing how his family can cut back without suffering or loosing quality of life.

2012 Goals
Use the vegetables from my garden and learn to preserve.
Cut down on all unnecessary things.
Free is best.
Get the garage completely cleaned out. Half done-Until BIL and SIL stored their stuff--now back to square 1.
Make the yards nice-weed, mow, plant, flowerbeds,etc.
Stay home more/eat out less if at all.
FIND A NEW JOB!!!
