Daughter gets most improved student of the year.
I found out today my little girl is getting the most improved student of the year award at her school. She doesn't know yet, and she will get the award in two weeks. She has autism and this year hasn't needed aide support in class. She managed to keep her grades at a B- average. She reached her reading goals with an A average. She is a 3rd grader. I am so proud of her. She struggles everyday to fit in, and is now aware that she is different then the other kids. We work on helping her fit in more socially. She loves to get awards, so this will be fun to see at the upcoming school assembly.

Congrats! And how exciting at that age! I have a second grader and I know how much they adore any type of good attention or rewards at this age! She'll be thrilled, especially to have it done in front of the whole school!

How wonderful for your daughter. As her mom, I'm sure you're as proud as a peacock right now.
