My eBay shopping
I bought 5 Stampin Up Classic stamping pads on eBay (they're 5.95 each in the catalog, so that'd be 29.75 + shipping). I paid 21 + shipping.

WTG Natalie!
It isn't as easy to find bargains on eBay, BUT they are out there. I just bought my MIL 120 diabetic test strips for $74.95. She leet herself run out and bought a box of 30 at WM for $61. I told her to PLEASE let me know when she opened the last box and I will get her more.
I always check out the local stores and then check online. I can almost always find it cheaper on eBay, Amazon, Overstock, etc.Mary

I have been banned from ebay by MY HUSBAND.He buys books and stuff like that and antique clocks that he knows is worth more. Since clocks are his work he knows what to buy. I just buy stuff. If MISS THRIFTY lived around here she would just love my basement i have boxes and boxes of prim and americana stuff. I have not even used yet.

I'll often check eBay for prices on things I can't necessarily get in stores, but then I hunt on-line to see if I can get a better price. 99% of the time, I can. Just tonight, I went to a publisher's web site to see about a specific book. It was $27 + s/h at the publisher. Off to eBay, where I could get it as low as $18 + $4 s/h. Then to Amazon.com, where I got it for $11 (brand new) with free s/h.

Yesterday my Tightwad Gazette, all 3 books in 1 volume arrived in the mail. I been searching on ebay, and other places trying to get a good deal. After borrowing from the library, I wanted my own copy.
I did not realize till yesterday that the 3in1 book had extra information in it. Which I am glad now, I bought this one.
Well I got it for just under $ 10 including the postage. Ebay has been giving out these promotion *coupons* for 15 % of your purchase. So I used it on this purchase. It does not affect the seller who won't know you used it. I had been trying to find a used copy locally but had no luck.
I think a lot of people look online for bargains. I know I do

I like E-bay. I can find some deals on fabric. Sometimes if I'm looking for a particular fabric I can find it on E-bay. My mom buys yarn. Sometimes she needs a skein or two to finish a project and she has been able to find it there.
