    Default My stockpile...

The food side of my stockpile fluctuates a whole lot! (Small!). But, my non-food one is doing great. I have at least a 2 years supply of: toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap (bar and body wash). 1.5 or so year supply of shampoo, maybe a 1 year supply of conditioner... Cough drops, however, have gone fast at times, so I'm not sure how much of a supply this is, but I've got 5 or so bags of about 25 cough drops... My sticky note and pens supply is probably about a 3 year supply.

It sounds as if we have the same stockpile. lol. I was going over the bodywash stockpile and really could not believe how many I have.

If I'm not mistaken there will be a Proctor & Gamble coupon insert in this Sunday's paper. There is usually body wash Q's.

Wow Natalie, that's great! I'm working hard on getting my non food stockpile back up to a year. Good for you, what's your secret? Any advice?

Very impressive. Last month we lost most of our food stamp assistance so I have had to rely on my food stockpile. My non-food items will hopefully hold out for at least the next 9 months until I can start the new job. I am so glad I found FV because I would of been in a tizzy if something had happened like this before.

Watch the sales, clip the coupons. Target had Irish Spring bar soap, 12 pack, for 5.49 each. KMart had Dove bar soap, 8 pack, for 7.00. So the Irish Spring was a better deal, but I love the scents of Dove, and how smooth and moisturized it makes my skin feel...

Looks like I'll have to get out another toothpaste one of these days...

I had both my food and non food stock piles up a lot, but now its bee really hard finding good sales and stuff, I dunno if it is just here where I am or everywhere....my food stockpile is slowing dwindling away. I really need to get back on the ball and start working on what I need to get.

When I make out my grocery list I note what we have used and replace it. Like we used 4 cans of tuna last month so I bought 6 cans to replace and add to what we have. When I find a good sale I stock up on that item. When I make meatballs I make a large batch and freeze what we don't use right off. I have been focusing on rice as we are getting low.
