Cool Oh darn! Had to turn my heat on!

Well, we cooled off okay. Right after the heat cooked some of my peonies.

We got down to 41 last night and my house was 62 this morning with temps. only going to 70 today. I had to turn my heat on this morning! Darn! Just to take off the chill but I just can't do 62. I toughed it out yesterday when the house hovered around 65 all day. I ran the dishwasher....it was full.....but for the HEAT! Also cooked something in the oven for lunch........for the heat!

Will mother nature ever settle down?? Will summer ever get here???

Our place hovers between 62 & 66 all summer (40's at night are standard here all summer).

I agree...it's not a very comfy temp...but it's the only time of year we can turn the furnace off and save that lil' bit! Needless to say, I keep fleece blankets out year round.

I wish I could send you some heat! It got up to 93 yesterday and they are predicting 95 today and with the humidity it is supposed to feel like 100 or so this afternoon.

With the exception of a few too cool nights, I am loving our weather. It's been in the upper 70's - lower 80's here for the most part. The nights have been in the 60's. It could stay like this the rest of the year and I'd be one happy camper. We keep getting forecasts for thunderstorms and we haven't had one yet. We could use a little rain, but just a little.

Sassyclass I will take your temps anytime. That is just perfect. We have 'some' perfect (like today at 73) but often will be extremes. Extremes with me being anything pushing 90 and over in the summer.

You people that get the heat with the humidity....no, I'll pass. I can't even do the humidity on the other side of the mtn. Guess like the people in Az. say......it's a dry heat...so it is here too...usually. Just can't believe the extremes going on around the country. Looks like our weather may have settled down for the next week (70's and 80's daytime, with 50's at night)....hope so.

Well this is a little unusual for here. We usually have the 80's-high 90's and 100% humidity here. Pretty much like a sauna all summer. If I could share it with you I'd gladly send you some of it.

We have the portable heater going here to take the chill off. We have been getting hail, it gets so cold after that. We have been around 59 all week and looks like more severe weather the rest of the week.

I had the windows open but shut them all to keep the heat in. We had summer, then it went somewhere else! Someone please send it back!

We had snow this weekend. It's slowly getting back to normal, which is about 70. It's going up to 26C this weekend and then it's supposed to rain next week. If it could stay like this all of the time (minus the snow) I'd be happy.

LeeCee......where are you? I am betting along the 'eastern seaboard' with all that humdity. UGH.....can't do humidity. It makes me freeze.

Lived in San Diego for a few years and don't think I ever got out of long sleeves.......not very often anyway. Then when it got toasty (around Labor Day) it would be humid....so after a shower you had to dry off three times b/4 U even got dressed!!..for all the good that did!
